Our Food & Drink

Our award winning chefs Paul Tapping and Bill Budd, both Royal Navy trained, have experience in cooking for both Her Majesty the Queen and many Admirals. We strive to use fresh local produce where possible, to produce imaginative reasonably priced dishes, this is reflected in our menus. There are gluten and dairy free options, as well as vegetarian options, we also have a very extensive specials board.

We have monthly sell out worldwide cuisine, buffet evenings; and fantastic Sunday lunches with a choice of three roast meats, Yorkshire pudding, crisp roast potatoes, homemade gravy and fresh seasonable vegetables, all brought to your table for your enjoyment.

We cater for any size party with menus to suit all pockets big or small, decorations for your party are generally included. If your party consists of 12 or more people we will require that meals are pre-ordered at least one week before  the event.

We are a relatively small inn with limited seating, it is therefore highly recommended that reservations for evenings and Sunday lunches are made in advance. Please call us to make a reservation.
